Author Instructions for Full Papers and Workshop Papers

If you have received a paper acceptance email from the TPC co-chairs, please use these author instructions to prepare your final camera ready paper.
IEEE/IEEE Communications Society/IEEE SECON Policies
To ensure appropriate consideration of conflicts of interest during the review process, the IEEE ComSoc prohibits changes to the list of authors once a paper has been submitted for review during review, revision, or (if accepted) final publication. The author list may be changed only prior to the submission deadline.
To be published in the IEEE SECON conference proceedings and to be eligible for publication in IEEE Xplore®, one author of each accepted paper is required to register for the conference at the full (member or non-member) rate. The paper must be presented by an author of that paper at the conference, unless the TPC co-chairs grant permission for a substitute presenter arranged in advance. The designated presenter should be qualified to both present the paper and answer questions. Non-refundable registration fees must be paid prior to uploading the final IEEE formatted, publication-ready version of the paper. Only IEEE Xplore®-compliant papers received by the camera-ready deadline can appear in the proceedings. For authors with multiple accepted papers, one full registration is valid for up to 3 papers. Accepted and presented papers will be published in the IEEE SECON 2022 conference proceedings and submitted to IEEE Xplore® as well as other Abstracting and Indexing (A&I) databases.
Revise your Paper
Please read the reviews of your paper and follow the reviewers’ recommendations for revising it and preparing the final version. When you are done with the revision, please print out your paper and carefully proofread it. Review formatting requirements can be found at:
https://www.ieee.org/conferences_events/conferences/publishing/templates.html
IEEE PDF eXpress
Only papers checked by IEEE PDF eXpress for IEEE Xplore compatibility are eligible to be submitted as final versions. This step can consume substantial time, so needs to be done well before the deadline. Before checking your PDF proofread your source document thoroughly to confirm that it will require no revision and ensure that your PDF complies with the conference paper template provided by IEEE. In particular, your paper should not contain any copyright notice (nor reserve space for such a notice) and it should not contain page numbers. Do not rely on the automatic check to detect all ways a paper can mismatch the template.
